This list of tallest buildings in Dubai ranks
skyscrapers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by height. The tallest
completed building in Dubai is the 354.6 m (1,163 ft)
Emirates Office Tower that was completed in
2000. It is located along Dubai's main thoroughfare, Sheikh Zayed Road.
This 54-floor skyscraper is currently the tallest building in the Middle
East, and the 13th-tallest building in the world. Since 1999 and
especially from 2005 onwards, Dubai has been on an epic skyscraper and
supertall building boom with all 17 of its 200+ meter (656+ foot)
buildings completed after 1999. Dubai currently has 289 completed
highrises but that number will increase greatly in the near future. With
327 highrises under construction right now and 329 approved highrises
(more than that already completed), including many skyscrapers and
supertalls, Dubai's skyline is rapidly growing.[1] Dubai is expected to
have more 100+ floor buildings than any other city in the world by
2015.[2] These skyscrapers are clustered in two different locations. The
land along Sheikh Zayed Road between the Trade Centre Roundabout and
Interchange 2 developed first. Later, the area around Dubai Marina also
attracted many skyscrapers.
